As a community we have been very blessed to have had the assistance and expert support and service of John Doorty for more than six years.
John was the one who introduced us to computers when he was involved with the Ennis Information Age Project. Busy as he was, he graciously guided us in our baby-steps in the world of IT, and he enthusiastically encouraged us to embrace the technological changes which we found most daunting at the time. Thanks to John, I and the Poor Clare community now use computers for very, many projects, and can enjoy using programmes and equipment with great ease. Software and hardware do not intimidate us anymore.
Any and every time we have a problem we only have to call on John who never fails to put things right. He guided us in the setting up of our website and even though we are an enclosed Order of Nuns it is now possible for us, through email and the Web, to be in contact with our Sisters worldwide.
